No! This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for anyone with an interest in floral design. You will learn fundamentals step by step.

Tools provided during the weekend (clippers, scissors, tape, wire, etc) are for use during the workshop. However, you have the option to purchase a tool kit to take home.

You will be creating a variety of items including: Hand tied bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnières, corsages, flower crowns, flower combs, and a large scale installation group project.

A maximum of 8 and a min of 5. If we do not get our min. we will refund you and let you know of upcoming dates.

In our cozy studio in Richland, WA. The address is 303 Casey Ave STE E.

• Comfortable, closed toed shoes.

• Comfortable clothing, layers as we know everyone likes a different temp.

• Brown bag lunch if you plan to eat at the studio during our lunch break. We have water, coffee, and snacks. Lunch is about an hourish so its plenty of time to grab something or Door Dash. We have a park next door if you want to bring a picnic blanket and the weather is nice.

• There are two 15 min breaks.

• Note that all our tables are waste height and designing is a lot of standing. We do have bar stools available but encourage designers to stand when designing.

• Bring your open mind and willingness to be creative. Let’s have fun!

Absolutely! We encourage you to take photos and share them on your socials. If you can tag @flowermoney or Simplified Celebrations we would be forever grateful.

In the unlikely event that the workshop is canceled for low registration or some other reason out of our control all monies will be refunded or you will be given an opportunity to transfer it to another workshop.

Yes! We’ll have short break throughout the day and a one hour lunch break.

Snacks, water, and coffee are provided but students are encouraged to bring their own lunch.

You will leave with a certificate of completion and we have several contacts with retail shops. However, we cannot guarantee you any job placement. You may list the workshop as a reference on your resume.

Yes! This will come to you via email in April.

There is simply not enough time to go over all the business side of flowers but we will touch on it a bit and you can ask any questions you would like throughout the 3 days.

I would say 18+. Floral design is a great skill for anyone from stay -at -home parents and retirees seeking a creative hobby or maybe you are and event professional or gardener wanting to expand your skill set. All are welcome!
